Having a bad hair day – 5 ways to get healthier hair

Do you have bad hair days often? Would you like to get shiny and healthy hair without spending thousands of dollars every month? There are no miracle cures that will make your hair healthy over night, but there are plenty of methods to use in order to get shiny and healthy hair within a few months.

  1. Try not to wash your hair every day. Your hair doesn’t have the same pH-balance as the water and because of that the hair might be damaged if you wash it every day.
  2. Try using silica for your hair. It will protect your hair against damage and it will protect your hair against heat while using a hairdryer or a straightener as well.
  3. Eat healthy food! Vitamins and minerals are necessary for a healthy hair. Fruit and vegetables contain plenty of vitamins for example but the most important thing is to have a varied and healthy diet.
  4. Don’t use a comb or a brush when the hair is wet. Use your fingers first and then take a comb when the hair is almost dry.
  5. Use a hair mask every now and then. It will give your hair new energy and make it more shiny. However, it will take a few days before you can see any result. Repeat the treatment regularly but not daily.

There are also several natural treatments that you can try. You can make hair masks at home with natural ingredients. You can experiment with various ingredients and figure out what works best for you. Many people use eggs when creating hair masks, an ingredient that contains plenty of vitamins. Olive oil is also a frequently used product that people use instead of expensive, chemical alternatives. You can try anything you’d like but make sure to stick to natural ingredients!

My name is Tezz and I'm a 29-years-old mother of 2. I spend most of my time at soccer practice, hockey practice or floor ball practice with my sons, but I also enjoy exercising myself. I love zumba, aerobics, jogging and of course power walking. My interest in health and training has grown since I became a mom. It all started when I wanted to lose a few extra pounds that I gained during my pregnancies, but it increased to become an honest interest in exercising and today I find it important to have a healthy lifestyle. I've also worked as a skincare consultant for a couple of years and I love beauty related topics just as much as health related topics. I love makeup and skincare and I'm looking forward to share my hobbies with you!
