Tea offers plenty of health benefits, one of them is the fact that it contains catechins, which is a well known antioxidant. It doesn’t contain much carbohydrates or fat though, which means you can drink tea without gaining weight. You could actually lose weight by drinking tea if you make it a habit to drink several cups of tea every day. The reason why tea in general and especially green tea could help you lose weight is that it increases the metabolism in your body.

You can also reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack by drinking tea. How’s that? Well, the tea helps keeping the artieries clog-free, which is very important in order to prevent heart attack.

Except from these great reasons to have tea regularly it’s also important to remember that drinking tea is a great way to stay hydrated during warm summer days. This means it’s tasty, low in fat and calories AND healthy. Could you possibly ask for more?
