Good reasons to enjoy your coffee

Are you one of those persons who starts every day with a cup of coffee? Do you need some coffee every now and then during the day in order to achieve optimal results at work? Relax! Coffee can actually be healthy as long as you keep it on a sound level.

Coffee contains antioxidants, and you need those in order to avoid getting damaged by free radicals, which exists in your body. Coffee also contains caffeine, which has anti-aging properties, and it helps fighting several health problems, such as Parkinson’s disease. The fact is that you can decrease the risk of getting many chronic illnesses by drinking coffee on a regular basis. These are some of the illnesses you might avoid by drinking coffee:


  • colon cancer (up to 25% decreased risk)
  • Parkinson’s disease (up to 80% decreased risk)
  • diabetes (up to 60% decreased risk)
  • gallstones (45% decreased risk)


These are just a few of the illnesses you can help preventing if you like and drink coffee regularly. With this in mind, you might not want to give up your favourite habit…?

In addition to the benefits mentioned above, you can also help protect the liver from cirrhosis with help from coffee, and this might help you avoid some forms of liver cancer. What does this mean? Well, coffee could actually save your life…
