Do you like chocolate? Well, who doesn’t… I guess we all know that dark chocolate has some health benefits, but it also presents a potential danger towards a thing figure and a healthy weight. This might come as news to you, but chocolate can be good for your skin. You’ve probably heard that eating too much chocolate, might cause acne, but a chocolate facial mask might be exactly what you need if you want to nourish the skin and get a smooth and healthy complexion.

You could, of course, take a trip to a spa, in order to get a chocolate facial mask applied, but this will cost you a lot of money, and it will be time consuming as well. Not everyone has the money, or the time for that matter, to spare, and that’s why it’s better to make your own mask at home. It’s actually quite simple, and it’s definitely a lot cheaper than visiting a spa. Just follow these guidelines.

Ingredients:

  • A couple of dark chocolate bars
  • 2/3 cups of milk (or cream)
  • sea salt
  • 3 tablespoons of brown sugar

Directions:

  • Heat the chocolate until melted.
  • Mix sugar, sea salt and milk.
  • Remove the chocolate from heat and add to the salt mixture.
  • Let cool.
  • Apply to face and leave on until the mask starts to get hard.
  • Remove with warm water.
