Is it time for a few weeks vacation, but you haven’t figured out where to go and what to do yet? Well, it may be tempting to travel abroad, to a warm destination where you can enjoy the sun in the middle of the winter, but it can also be fun to benefit from the snow, by going to a place where you can have fun and experience a true adventure. What do I mean? Offpiste skiing of course!

Try offpiste skiing in the Alps

Downhill skiing is fun in general, but offpiste skiing is something extra! This is the perfect adventure for everyone who has been skiing for a while, since it requires some skills.

There are plenty of places to go offpiste skiing, but if you want to experience world class skiing, you should definitely go to the Alps in Europe. The french Alps are amazing, with plenty of attractions and activities besides from skiing. This is the place where you can ski among gentle rolling valleys as well as rough terrain slopes. You can get an adventure that suits your skills.

Tignes is a place where you can experience great offpiste adventures, and Les Arcs is another. You can also visit Switzerland, where you can find great offpiste destinations, such as Zermatt. In Zermatt you’ll be able to find challenging skiing through spectacular terrain, and the best thing of all: there is still powder snow in Zermatt in May!

Take help from a guide

Offpiste skiing is real fun, but it can also be dangerous if you’re unaware of suitable places, and things to consider before going downhill. If you haven’t tried offpiste skiing before, it may be a good idea to ask a guide to keep you company the first time. An experienced guide will be able to give you some advice, and he or she will also be able to show you the best terrain in the area for fabulous offpiste adventures. Make your adventure exciting but safe, consult a guide before you take off!

It all started when I wanted to lose a few extra pounds that I gained during my pregnancies, but it increased to become an honest interest in exercising and today I find it important to have a healthy lifestyle. I love makeup and skincare and I'm looking forward to share my hobbies with you!
