Replace soft drinks with strawberry smoothies – a tasty way to a healthier life

It’s a well known fact that thousands of people suffer from sugar addiction and this problem gets bigger and bigger every year. Carbonated soft drinks is a big danger in the society today since frequent use often leads to weight gain and damaged teeth. There are ways to get rid of the sugar problem though. You can replace soft drinks with something much healthier, tastier and fresher: strawberry smoothies.

Strawberry smoothies are great in many ways. They have a great, fresh taste and they are full of vitamins and antioxidants. Another good thing is that you will absorb more nutrients from the fruits when they are mixed in a blender. The result is that you will get a better body defence and maybe you’ll become healthier in the future since your body will be able to fight disease in a better way.

If you avoid putting any sugar in your strawberry smoothie you’ll be able to drink plenty of fresh strawberry smoothies during hot summer days without having to worry about any weight gain. This is a much healthier alternative to carbonated soft drinks and the best thing is that this alternative actually tastes better as well! It’s also important to be aware of the fact that you will get a great level of vitamin C as well as potassium and manganese from strawberries.

This recipe requires only a minimum of ingredients and it’s very fresh.

  • 1 cup strawberries, preferrably sliced ones
  • 1 cup mango
  • 1 cup ice cubes
  • ½ cup fresh squeezed orange juice

This is just one of the alternatives, you can try adding extra ingredients or replacing some of these as well. The decision is yours and you can create your own, tasty fruit smoothie.
