My favourite salad recipe

To live a healthy life is important whether you’re young or old. There are various things to take into consideration in order to get a healthier lifestyle, but one of the most important is to maintain a healthy diet. It can be difficult to know what diet you should choose, among all available alternatives, but in most cases you’ll be just fine by eating healthy, nutritious and balanced food.

My best advice for you is to include fresh and tasty salads in your diet every now and then. Even if you prefer something heavier for dinner, it’s still a great lunch! The summer is an especially good time for salads, as the vegetables helps relieving your thirst. There are many alternatives to choose between when it comes to salad, and the best thing is that you can combine your own salad, while your partner, friend or your kids can choose another combination. There are plenty of things to try, and I can assure you that you’ll never get sick of salad, at least not if you try to experiment and try various ingredients.

My favourite salad

As I said, there are plenty of alternatives to choose between, but I decided to share my favourite salad recipe with you.

In order to make this salad you’ll need:


  • Tomatoes (cherry tomatoes or cocktail tomatoes gives the best taste according to me)
  • Cucumber
  • Lettuce
  • Lemon
  • Red bell pepper
  • Feta cheese
  • Parsley


It’s really easy to make this salad, and I find it very fresh and delicious. I do, however, add some chicken, salmon or pasta from time to time, if I’m very hungry or if I choose to have salad for dinner instead of lunch.
