Keep healthy by drinking tea

Are you a tea drinker? Good for you! Various tea types has different health benefits, and I can tell you once and for all; it’s a lot healthier to drink tea than to drink lemonade, and you will soon find out why. Still stuck with Earl Grey and trying to find another type of tea to improve your health? Here are a few suggestions for you (even though Earl Grey is real nice as well from time to time).

  • Green Tea – You’ve probably heard it before. Green Tea has plenty of health benefits and one of the most important things to mention is that the antioxidants in the tea may prevent cancer in breast, bladder, lung and stomach. It may also reduce the risk of diseases like Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. As a bonus it also helps burning fat.
  • Chamomile Tea – It may interfere with the growth of cancer cells, and it may also have a calming and soothing effect which relieves stress.
  • Hibiscus Tea – This tea may lower your blood pressure.
  • Black Tea – If you need to lower your cholesterol levels you may want to try Black Tea. The antioxidants in this tea has a beneficial effect on the cholesterol, and it may also help reduce the risk of getting a stroke.
  • Passionflower Tea – Suffer from anxiety? Then you may want to drink a few cups of Passionflower Tea daily. This type of tea contains a flavone named chrysin, which has anti-anxiety benefits.
  • Ginger Tea – Suffer a lot from disturbing headache? Then Ginger Tea is something for you. It reduces inflammation just as quickly as pain-killers, and it’s blocking prostagladins, which causes swelling in the brain, something that leads to headache.
